Brice Travis is Senior Vice President of Transportation. In his capacity, Mr. Travis oversees daily operations for Phoenix Rail, including safe and efficient transportation of goods across Phoenix’s lines, executing on the customer needs and growth plans, as well as managing the company’s mechanical departments.

Mr. Travis brings 24 years of experience in railroad operations and management to the Phoenix family. He began his rail career in 2001 in the track department and, upon completion of certification as Conductor and Engineer, took over day-to-day operations of two short line roads. He joined the Napoleon Defiance and Western Railroad in December 2012 where he served as the General Manager. He was promoted to Regional Manager of Pioneer’s Northern Region, being awarded Railroad of the Year by the ASLRRA for the transformation of the NDW Railroad. He subsequently served as Regional Director of Transportation for Patriot Rail (Igneo).

Before his railroad career, Mr. Travis was in the manufacturing industry.
