Jodi Heath is Phoenix Rail’s Senior Vice President of Business Development. Ms. Heath’s focus is to grow and manage existing and new business for Phoenix’s railroads.

She began her railroad career with Norfolk Southern in 2014 where she managed eight states and sixty-two short lines, including military shipments for the Midwest. She joined Pioneer Lines in 2019 as the Vice President of Business Development for its Northern Region, and following the company’s acquisition by Patriot Rail, she served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Genesee & Wyoming. She was subsequently recruited by The Indiana Railroad Company (a Class II regional railroad and wholly owned subsidiary of the CSX), to serve as its Vice President of Business Development, overseeing commercial activities, including both traditional bulk and intermodal freight sales.

Prior to working in the railroad industry, Ms. Heath traded grain commodities for over twenty-two years at various co-ops, terminals, processors, and ethanol facilities. She was also the branch manager for Helena Chemical in Huntington, IN.

Ms. Heath attended Purdue University in Fort Wayne, IN, majoring in Occupational Leadership and minoring in Communications.
